New Version of Persol HCM Is Released; Over 90% of Customers Upgrade

Persol, this month, launched the latest version
of its Human Capital Management suite of applications. With the
ever growing need for sophisticated human capital management solutions,
Persol believes that improving the people management offer to
customers should be taken to a new and enhanced level.
In early 2007, ahead of the redenomination of the Cedi, Persol
made a move to boost its offer to the Ghanaian market by releasing
a new version of their state-of-the-art human capital management
solution, Persol HCM. The new Persol HCM version 4.0, developed
in Microsoft Visual Basic 6, one of Microsoft’s latest platforms
is intended to ensure that customers match the pace of advancement
in technological trends and address current and imminent industry
changes.
In addition, Persol HCM 4.0 comes with a wide array of new great
and unique features. Says Mr Kizito Owusu-Agyeman, Head of Business
Development, “Our aim is to make clients efficient at what they
do, more productive in effect and eventually the leaders in their
industry”. Our current statistics, according to Mr. Quarshie,
the MD of Persol show that over 90% of our customers have switched
to version 4.0 of Persol HCM. “We are very proud of this impressive
outcome which we believe is a sign of commitment and trust on
the part of customers” said Mr Quarshie.
The new solution incorporates an employee self service kiosk.
It also has a new import facility for earnings, an annualized
tax table and the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant passwording system.
